I spent the first 28 years of my life pursuing degrees I didn't want to earn in order to meet other people's expectations. At the same time, I was prospecting door-to-door, selling corporate phone systems, and managing a restaurant. All valuable in my development, but not my inspiration. The two decades after that were filled with professional success. Global Event Director for a multi-media company, the COO for an event production agency, a consultant for a retail group, and the founder of a tech startup, but I remained a disaster in my personal life. I was constantly anxious and imposter syndrome-afflicted, and my health was not in the best place. Two breathtakingly beautiful and transformative marriages later, and living a life where I hated waking up in my own head every morning, I asked myself a question that literally changed the course of my life: “Do I buy into myself? Do I truly, day in and day out, buy into ME?” Now I get to spend my time doing what I love with the people I love the most. I live and work in one of the most beautiful places in the country. I’m able to explore the world, learn new skills, and stay in an (almost) constant state of self-acceptance and evolution. My relationships are powerful and nurturing. And my primary care doctor thinks I have discovered the fountain of youth, as I’m in the best shape of my life.
When I say, “It’s your world," I’m speaking from experience, not just repeating a fancy catchphrase. If you decide to believe in yourself, there’s nothing that can stop you.Other things about me:I will never let you walk around with food in your teeth. Especially if I don’t know you.I do a lot of great things in the kitchen. Cooking is not one of them.I will always geek out over the power of psychedelics and plant medicines and believe they are a key to our collective evolution.
The guaranteed way to my meditative state is on two wheels at triple-digit speeds. My mother taught me that everyone is deserving of love, and my father taught me that the strongest person never has to prove it. I do my best to live this every day.I know very little to nothing about most things, but there are a few things I know exceptionally well: human nature, personal evolution, intimate connection, and the power of hyper-accountability to achieve anything and everything.Despite my often irreverent humor and overall political incorrectness, I’m actually a pacifist, feminist, and massive advocate for racial, religious, sexual orientation, and gender equality. All equality, period.

I was "that" kid. The one who would get uncontrollably hyper from eating food dye. The one who constantly had a runny nose, itchy eyes and some sort of skin rash just from sitting in grass. The one who was irritable and angry with other kids. The one who had to read nutrition labels before asking to have any snack or treat. I was a sick little kid with dozens of food allergies and sensitivities. My food and eating experience was something I had to learn how to navigate very early and it significantly impacted my quality of life. I remember being completely miserable at times with symptoms such as itchy skin, headache, fatigue, hyperactivity, etc. I also remember how much better I felt when I started learning about what made me sick and how I had more control over my health than I realized.
I grew up in a family of chiropractors and my parents supported me through all of my health challenges. They encouraged me to take responsibility and be proactive about my health instead of being a victim of it. I accomplished that by learning about food, nutrition and my personal health needs. Listening to my body is a practice that I am still working on to this day. I learned how to make my own food that felt better to my body and didn't include any of the things my body reacted to. I started the journey that many of us are on in regards to supporting our health, I just stepped onto that path a little earlier than most. My childhood taught me that my health is invaluable and there is nothing on this planet that can replace it.
